PAINTING OF THE THIRD MILLENNIUM

At 35 Camilo Villanueva left his work to devote exclusively to painting.
His paintings are characterized by the great visual impact they produce and the strong contrast of color they have.

At present, he lives in the countryside of the province of Córdoba in Argentina.

Villanueva was invited to participate in an exhibition in Venezuela and Mexico in 1996. He has also exhibited in Yango Art Gallery in Punta del Este, Uruguay and in the city of Buenos Aires in the Sheraton and the Conquistador hotels. In Buenos Aires his paintings have also been shown in the Argentine Rural Society, in La Maja art gallery in Patio Bullrich, a renowned commercial and art center, in Babilonia art gallery and in the Italian Society invited by the Buenos Aires National Office of Visual Arts. In the city of Córdoba he has exhibited in Posta del Sauce art gallery and in La Estancia.
Because of the relevance of his exhibitions he has participated in several art- related TV programs where he got good reviews.
